Bible class offers the chance to get a better look at God’s plan for our lives. In 7^th grade we take a “journey” though the Old and New Testaments, in 6^th grade we learn all about being “wise” verse “foolish” as we study Proverbs. 8^th grade is all about the Life of Christ and how we can “know” Him rather than just know “facts” about Him. Bible class is a place to ask questions, pray and learn what it is to have a personal relationship with God.

History  class for 6^th is all about our ancient cultures and where “everything” started. We study ideas, traditions and enjoy several art projects that go along with the culture we are studying. 7^th grade is World Studies; again we see what it was like in the “old” days. The students learn about several different countries and their people. We enjoy cooking many new recipes that come from the lands we study. 8^th grade studies American History; from the discovery of America through the New Millennium (up to 2008).  In addition the students spend one quarter learning all about our Constitution; we discuss just what it means to live in a “free” country and how to show respect and support for our country. We study history to know where we came from, what events shaped our country and how we fit into the world around us.
